The opening round always feels different. Nothing is settled yet — the grid is still learning itself, the crews are still finding their rhythm, and every session carries the nervous energy of a season that has not been decided.

I spent most of the weekend between the pit wall and the far side of the circuit, watching the light move across the asphalt. Panning shots at the exit of the corners, quiet moments in the garages, drivers waiting with their suits tied at the waist. The racing was loud, but the pictures I keep coming back to are the still ones.
